The Luxembourg American Cultural Center welcomes group tours to visit the museum and learn more about Luxembourg!
Because the Cultural Center depends heavily on volunteers, please contact us at least two weeks in advance to plan your customized visit by emailing info@lacs.lu or calling our main office at 262-476-5086.
Discounted admission is given to groups of 10 or more people. If there are less than 10 in your group, please see regular admission prices.
Please note, the Research Center is not included on the tour. Appointments must be made to conduct research by contacting LACS Curator Serena Stuettgen at sstuettgen@lacs.lu or 262-285-5061.
SELF-GUIDED
Groups usually spend 30-45 minutes going through the permanent exhibit, gardens (weather depending), and gift shop.
Depending on staff availability, the group can opt to have an LACS staff member do a 10-minute introduction on the LACS museum at the beginning of the tour at no additional cost.
Prices
Groups of 10 to 20 people: $5 per person
Groups of 21+ people: $3 per person
GUIDED
Guided group tours are only offered to groups of 10 to 20 people. With more than 20 people, it becomes difficult for the visitors to hear and see the tour guide. For larger groups, we recommend doing a self-guided tour with an introduction by a staff member (see above).
A tour guide will conduct a guided tour of the permanent exhibit and garden (weather depending) for about 45 minutes. The tour includes an overview of the country of Luxembourg, the immigration story of Luxembourg Americans, the Luxembourg American community, and the relationship between Luxembourg and the United States.
Groups usually spend an additional 15 minutes after the tour with questions or shopping in the LACS gift shop.
Price
Groups of 10 to 20 people: $9 per person
SCHOOL GROUPS
School group tours are only offered to groups of 10 to 25 people. With more than 20 people, it becomes difficult for the visitors to hear and see the tour guide.
A tour guide will conduct a guided tour of the permanent exhibit and garden (weather depending) for about 45 minutes. Groups usually spend an additional 15 minutes after the tour with questions or shopping in the LACS gift shop.
This program will be tailored for all grade levels to include activities and experiences that explore Luxembourg American culture and immigration during the turn of the 19th century. Students will learn about the journey to America, the immigration experience at Caste Garden and Ellis Island. They will compare and contrast life in that time period to the present.

Groups of 10 to 25 people: $3 per person
