Petition to Re-open Luxembourg Citizenship Reclamation Process

A public petition is being filed with the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies to reopen the deadline for the acquisition of citizenship by descendants.

 This petition references the article for which stage 1 expired on December 31, 2018. Many people came to belatedly learn of the legislation that deferred citizenship to descendants without generation limitation.

 If you ancestor is a woman, you do not have the right to Luxembourg nationality today, although in the case of men there is no generation limit yet.
